Q: I have tried to update the information on the SD card on my window 8 computer but it says there is a problem with the card and it will not update.
When it tries to repair it, it keeps saying there is a problem. I have tried several times without success. Maybe the SD card is corrupt?
If I try and update the versions of the car makes via the cd program eg. V1.0 to V2.0 on my computer it says that my sd card has a problem but cannot repair it.
This is a bit of a concern to me as I do not want to break the device.
My concern was to do with updating the information on the unit or the SD card. When I put in the cd to upload the "updating software" it says to insert the SD card to update the current version.
When I received the set last week and plugged it in I saw on the screen SCAN / SET UP / PLAYBACK / OBDII V1.0.
Now all I have is OBDII V1.0 / PLAYBACK / SETUP. There is no SCAN.
I cannot select Asian European or USA cars. It won't let me select them.
Also you can use the scanner directly with connecting to your car.
The scanner includes the software, you don't have to link with your pc or computer.
