BMW CAS4 tester features:

1. Automatically identify the CAS4 computer and CAS4+ computer. For example, first connect the tester to a CAS4 computer when matching a new key:

A. When the screen shows CAS4, you can read CAS4-5M48H data to create a key.
After programming a key, you can identify the key by the tester to check if the key works, without using it on your car.
This is convenient for key programming without a car in hand.

B. When the tester shows CAS4+, don’t try to read data from 5M48H computer, as the new key cannot be matched at present.
If you program a key now, the key can only be used for remote control but not start up vehicles.

2. When connecting CAS4 computer to the tester, the system will automatically identify if the computer is in good condition and if its computer is well welded.

3. The tester has the functions that a CAS4 5M48H computer has. It can be used on Windows XP system and YANHUA YHF instruments to test if they can read 5M48H data, as well as get the data for testing.

How to use BMW CAS4 Tester for CAS4 1L15Y 5M48H ?

1.Connect the tester to CAS4 computer; the machine will start self-test after it is powered up.

2. If it tests CAS4, when it shows [recognize matched keys and CAS4 is connected], you can read data from CAS4-5M48H to match a key.

3. If the system identifies CAS4+, but shows [did not identify keys, you could try not to read data from CAS4-5M48H, as a new key cannot be matched now. If you program a key now, the key can only be used for remote control but not start up vehicles. In order not to waste your time, keys, and risk, you’d better not try.

4. When matching new keys well, connect the tester and CAS4 computer, and then place the new keys in the inductive zone of the tester, the system will inspect the keys automatically within 10 seconds, saving you from test it on your vehicle. This is suitable for long distance key matching.
